U našoj školi je 27. maja 2024. godine obeležen Dan slovenske pismenosti. Javni čas za učenike od prvog do sedmog razreda pripremila je nastavnica srpskog jezika. Nakon uvoda u početak slovenske pismenosti, deo predavanja održao je veroučitelj koji je upriličio i posluženje za svu decu, povodom slave hrama na Kopaoniku – Sv. Ćirila i Metodija. Učenici su na praktičnom delu časa pisali svoja imena glagoljicom i najranijom varijantom ćirilice, a oni posebno inspirisani su crtali slikali na datu temu.
